John D. Armitage
Managing Director
John has been active as a management and executive search consultant for
over 40
years. He started in management consulting with KPMG
and moved
into executive search as a specialty in 1972.
In 1976, he launched Armitage Associates as
a high-end specialty search practice.
John is a co-founder of Talent Technology Corporation and
serves on the Advisory Board of
ACE (Advancing Canadian Entrepreneurship) – an association geared to encouraging
entrepreneurship/business startups at the undergraduate level in universities across Canada.
He was formerly in accounting and
financial positions with Merck Frosst Limited –
a multinational pharma. John has an MBA from the University of Texas (Austin) and a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University in Montreal.
Natalie Kusick
Research Associate/Database- Project Coordinator
Natalie coordinates the firm’s candidate database and Internet research
as a member of our research team. She has been with the firm over 8
years.
Natalie has her BA from York University.
Chelsea Armitage
Consultant
Chelsea Armitage is an Associate in Toronto with
a particular focus on assignments in the
financial services/investments practice as well
as the cleantech/alternative energy practice.
Previously, she worked in fundraising consulting
and has been with Armitage for over 8 years.
Chelsea has a B.A. (Economics) from the University of
Western Ontario and also a post-graduate diploma
from Humber College.
Ron Cuperfain
Associate
Ron Cuperfain has over 20 years experience in both retailing and research and
executive search for various firms. He handles assignments in the financial
services, real estate, health care, and manufacturing sectors.
Ron received his Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) from Dalhousie
University and an MBA (Finance) from the University of Toronto.
Michael Goodman
Associate
Michael has been a senior search practitioner in the Quebec market for the last
30 years. He specializes in financial services, real estate, healthcare, and
retailing. He was formerly in in-house HR roles at the Mercantile Bank
and Royal Trust.
Michael has a law degree from the University of Montreal and a BA from McGill
University and is bilingual.
Cameron Laker
Vancouver Associate
Cameron is a Managing Director of a Vancouver-based affiliate - Mindfield Group.
Mindfield is a Recruiting Process Outsourcing firm which offers mid-market
recruiting to customers looking to outsource volume-based clerical and mid-range
staffing activity to a 3rd party firm. He assists Armitage on assignments
undertaken in Western Canada.
